Ticket Policies

Ticket Policies for the East Texas Symphony Orchestra Subscription Series are the same as those for The University of Texas at Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.   Additional policies may be in place for concerts performed or presented by ETSO that are not held at the Cowan Center.  The policies below are subject to change.

Credit Card Purchases

We gladly accept credit cards for the purchase of ETSO tickets.  Credit card charges for ETSO events held at the Cowan Center will read The University of Texas at Tyler.  Credit card charges for events not held at the Cowan Center will read ETSO.

Handling Fees

Handling fees for concerts ticketed through the Cowan Center Box Office will be those as set for by the Cowan Center.  You may review them by clicking here.

Ticket Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. If you are unable to use your tickets for any reason, consider giving them to a friend or neighbor.

Lost Tickets
If you are a subscriber, or if you have purchased single tickets, just call UT Tyler Cowan Center, 903-566-7424, and they will issue a replacement pass, which you can pick up the evening of the concert. The UT Tyler Cowan Center is located on the campus of The University of Texas at Tyler, 3900 University Blvd, Tyler, TX  75799.

Child Attendance Policy
As a courtesy to all patrons, children under the age of five will not be admitted to ETSO concerts. All ages are welcome at our annual Family concert, (not a part of the Subscription package) or the Open Dress Rehearsals the afternoon of concert performances.

Fragrance Policy
Many people have scent sensitivities or are highly allergic to perfumes. Because a concert experience places people in an enclosed environment, please use perfumes, cologne, after-shave and scented lotions in moderation.

Cameras and Recording Equipment
Cameras and recording equipment are not allowed in the concert hall. Unauthorized recording or picture-taking (including camera phone images) are prohibited.

General Box Office Policies (as printed on the back of tickets)

  1. No food or drink allowed in the theatre.
  2. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the staff.
  3. Program and performers are subject to change without notice.
  4. No camera (including cell-cameras) or recording devices allowed.
  5. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by            management to be disorderly, or fails to comply with rules listed here.
  6. Under 5 not admitted, unless show specific.
